Alert and Notifications

You can get notified with respect to application deployment events, job runs, application crash and OOM events on Slack.To achieve this, first create a slack connection and then set up the notification rules using below-mentioned steps.

Setting up the notification rules for your environment

To set up the notification rules, navigate to the environments page..

1. Click on the 3-dot menu icon corresponding to the environment for which you would like to configure notification rules.
2. Select "Settings" from the list.
3. Locate the Notifications section.
4. Toggle the "Notify on Slack" switch.
5. Select your Slack connection and select a Slack channel from the list provided. It is recommended to have separate channels for each environment, e.g. for prod environment you may have one named "prod-kapstan".
6. Click on "Save" to enable the notifications.
