Overview of Connections

In Kapstan, connections are the bridges between your existing tools and Kapstan. By creating connections, you enable Kapstan to seamlessly interact with your existing toolsets, ensuring a smooth and automated experience.

Available Connections​

Here's a quick overview of the available connection categories:

Cloud Provider​

Connect Kapstan to your preferred cloud service provider. Currently, we support AWS. More providers will be added in the future. Connect your Cloud Provider.

Container Registry​

Connect your container registry to easily pull and deploy containerized applications. We currently support GitHub and Docker. Connect your Container Registry.

Vulnerability Scanner​

Ensure your applications are secure by connecting to a vulnerability scanning service. At the moment, we support Dependabot. Connect your Vulnerability Scanner.

Ticket Manager​

Sync Kapstan with your ticket management system to keep track of tasks and issues. Jira is currently supported. Connect your Ticket Manager.

Communication Platform​

Connect your communication platform for real-time notifications and updates. Slack is the current supported platform. Connect your Communication Platform.

Setting Up Connections​

Setting up a connection is straightforward:

  1. Navigate to the "Create Connection" page.
  2. Choose the desired connection type.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to authenticate and grant necessary permissions.
  4. Once connected, you can manage or remove connections from the same page.
