API keys

API keys can be created and managed at the environment level by environment admins. They can be used to trigger CD runs from github actions.

Accessing your API keys

To manage your API keys, navigate to the My environments page.

1. Click on the 3-dot menu icon corresponding to the environment for which you would like to manage API keys.
2. Select "Settings" from the list.
3. Locate the API Keys section.

Generate your Kapstan API key

1. Follow the steps in the Accessing the API keys Section to access your API keys.
2. Click "Create a new API Key" to open up the form.
3. Enter a descriptive name and click "Create".
4. Make a note of the API created as it will not be shown again.

Delete your Kapstan API key

1. Follow the steps in the Accessing the API keys Section to access your API keys.
2. Click the trash icon corresponding to the API key you would like to delete.
3. Confirm the deletion by typing the name of the API key in the confirmation field.
4. Click "Delete".
