GCP Artifact Registry

Steps to create an GCP Artifact Registry connection in Kapstan

  1. Navigate to connections page.
  2. Click the "+" icon in the top-right corner and then click on "Container registry".
  3. Select "GCP Artifact Registry" from the presented container registries.
  4. Complete the creation process by providing the required values in the form.
  • Connection Name: Enter an identifiable name for your connection.
  • GCP connection: Select the GCP connection you wish to utilize for this.

Kapstan seamlessly integrates with Artifact Registry without requiring additional credentials or access. It leverages the credentials and access settings already configured for the selected GCP connection.

  • GCP region: Choose your desired region from the region drop-down menu.
  • GCP repository: Enter the name of the repository you wish to connect to. Note: Kapstan currently only supports Docker Image repositories. For more information about managing repositories see GCP Artifact Registry documentation.
  1. Click "Confirm" to finalize the connection setup.

Verify Connection

Once you established the connection with Kapstan, you will be directed to the Connections page. You can check the status of the connection by checking the status column.
