User management
Overview
Go to Users tab in Admin section to manage users and their associated roles and permissions.
Required Permissions
To manage users, you need to be either an Admin or an Environment Admin for that specific environment.

Inviting users
- Navigate to user management page on Kapstan, click on the "+" icon on top right and fill in the required details.
- Choose the access level:
- Admin: Full access to all environments
- Member: Specific access to assigned environments only
- For member access, you'll have to define the access level for the invited user per environment. You can either manually do it, or copy the permissions from an existing user.
- Click "Invite" to send the invitation.
Managing active users
- Navigate to the user management page on Kapstan
- Locate the user in the Active tab
- Click the vertical three dots icon at the end of the row:
- Remove: Remove the user from the organization
- Edit: Modify the user's access or roles
- Modify their access or roles as needed and click "Save" to apply the changes
Managing invitations
If a user cannot find their invitation in their inbox or you need to cancel an invitation, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the user management page on Kapstan.
- Locate the user in the "Invited" tab.
- Click the three dots icon at the end of the row:
- Resend: Resend the invitation
- Cancel Invitation: Cancel the invitation
